Installation
Be sure you run your Mac on macOS 13 or higher. The demo version that you can freely download from our web site has the following limitations: it displays the Kinemac logo over the Stage and doesn't let you save your animations. To unlock these limitations you should purchase a license at our web store. After you have purchased a license we’ll email you with your registration data.
Authorise your computer
If you run Kinemac 2, the registration data consist in a Serial Number & Email that you have to enter on the Registration Panel.
  1. Be sure your computer is connected to the internet then launch the Kinemac application. At the first launch you will be shown the Authorization panel.

  2. Enter your Serial Number and Email then press the Register button. The demo application will turn into a full working application and will run without limitations. From the second launch on you don't longer need to be connected to the internet to launch and run Kinemac as registered.

If you purchased a multi user license, you can enter your Serial Number & Email to as many machines as your license allows. When authorized, Kinemac will tell you how many additional activations you can still make. Remember to deauthorize your machine before you sell it or give it away. See the next chapter here below.

Notes
Kinemac 2 is macOS application notarised by Apple and released by an identified developer (Softobe). Be sure your machine can run applications from identified developers (see the System Preferences/Security/General panel). If you run on macOS Sierra please consult this article on “How to Disable Gatekeeper and allow apps From identified developers in macOS Sierra”.

If Kinemac doesn't run as registered, please check these solutions.

Deauthorise your computer
If you need to move your license to a different computer, or if you are going to sell your computer or to give it away, you should firstly deauthorize the computer where Kinemac is running on as registered. To deauthorize your computer, make sure it is connected to the internet, then:

  1. Launch Kinemac and select the Kinemac:Deauthorize Computer menu item. Hold for a couple of seconds until Kinemac tells you that your machine has been properly deauthorized. Then your copy will run as demo, therefore with the limitations mentioned here above.

  2. Quit Kinemac and don't relaunch it again on this machine otherwise, if you marked the check-box "Remind me my Serial Number and Email" your copy will be automatically authorised at the next launch. If you need to run Kinemac as demo on this machine or if you are going to sell this machine, deauthorize the machine and unmark the check-box "Remind me my Serial Number and Email".

  3. Even if you own one license only, you can run Kinemac on several machines, once at a time. Firstly deauthorize your machine A. Then move (or copy) the Kinemac application to the machine B then launch it. Be sure your machine B is connected to the internet, then enter your Serial Number and Email on the Registration panel. You can do that and viceversa at any time, without limitations.

If you lose your license
If you lost your Serial Number or your RegistrationFile.txt, you can automatically get it here here. You need to provide your Order ID + Email or your Serial Number + Email or your RegistrationFile.txt and get the data you lost. Please note, the Order ID is reported on the receipt you got from the vendor.

If you don't remember your Serial Number nor your Order ID, nor you have your RegistrationFile.txt, simply contact us providing us your name, surname and email you used to register the product and any other information that can help us to retrieve your record (e.g. purchase date, online store…). We will quickly email you with a copy of your license.
